Charity, Community Outreach, and Community Spirit

As long as Millennium Martial Arts has existed, we have believed that part of the spirit of Karate is to be charitable and work toward helping and protecting those that need it. One way in which we have demonstrated this is in the various charitable and community events that we host, participate or fundraise for. Over the years, we have hosted Blood Drives at the Dojo, Kick-a-thons for Children’s Hospital, Adopt-a-Family food and clothing drives, Art For Healing (art supplies for children that are experiencing extended stays at hospitals), and we donate our time for community Family Fun Nights, events for the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Daisy Troops and more. Over the past 5 years, Millennium Martial Arts and its instructors and students have sent teams to participate in MS Bike Rides and MS Walks raising over $50,000 for this charity alone.

We are happy to participate in other organizations fundraising efforts as well, and often contribute to their auctions and other charity events.
