TEEN AND ADULT KARATE CLASSES… HAVE A BLAST LEARNING SELF-DEFENSE !
Martial Arts Classes for teens and adults are geared toward practical self-defense and developing a healthy body through physical training. For teens, this is an important time of their life to learn self-defense as many will be gaining more independence, encountering situations out in the “real world” without adult supervision, and possibly even going away to school. Through karate classes at Millennium Martial Arts, they will learn how to be aware of their surroundings and prepared to defend themselves if necessary.
Adult men and women of any age benefit from Martial Arts training in many of the same ways as children. Many of our adult karate students start training in their 30s, 40s, and 50s…you are never too old to try. Come down and give it a try and you will see that our friendly, welcoming dojo is a fantastic place to begin your martial arts journey. And best of all, you are going to have FUN doing it with us!

A GREAT ACTIVITY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
If your children are also enrolled then it is even better! Karate at Millennium Martial Arts in Smithtown is a GREAT FAMILY ACTIVITY! As every parent knows, common ground can be more difficult to find as children teeter between childhood and adulthood. The great thing about our karate curriculum is that children and adults are essentially learning the same thing, so practicing together and helping one another learn new material is a rewarding experience for all. Open Floor Night is a weekly class that Adults and Children can attend and work together on their requirements, practice new techniques and seek guidance from instructors and senior students. This is a great opportunity to work together as a family! Classes for adults are offered every weekday evening as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. Also check out our iKickbox program for adults which is a great complement to formal karate training.
